The solstice: meaning the (day) the sun stops. In winter we observe it as the shortest day. But it is also the day of beginning, of transformation, of shaking off the past, of moving forward. This year he has seen his community rocked by Covid:19, access to tourism cut off, cultural traditions threatened with loss due to illness among elders and yet…he teaches a message of hope and love.
