Wounded Knee Massacre
Native American Justice VIDEOS
December 29, 1890 - the massacre at Wounded Knee.
The Wounded Knee Massacre was rewritten as a battle. This is how the US Government spun the story of American soldiers murdering nearly 300 Native people, mostly women and children.
Many mistakenly refer to the massacre as part of Native history. But Native history is American history.
Today we remember and honor those who lost their lives in a massacre that should have been avoided.
Thank you @dawnbjoraker for teaching us about this important moment in history.
